Actually surprised at how good this movie was...not in the classic sense meaning oscar worthy, but it delivered on it's bias of being an action flick.Worth watching.

i have a painful allergy to vastly overemployed wasp underwear models, and i think larry was expendable in this one; but hoffman does well, cruise (where did he GET that name?) does well, and the movie does well.best of the three i think.

This is definitely an engaging plot, lots of raw action with great gadgets thrown in. The MI force is back in action for a great ride!! Definitely the BEST of MI movies.

A pleasant surprise. Put off watching the movie as MI-2 was a bit disappointing. This movie has character. Cruise is a professional and hits every note. Hoffman displays raw talent as always making the role his own (another 10 years and he could be the new Jack Nicholson). Action fans will enjoy this one.

I initially had no interest in seeing this, but I'm a big Hoffman fan and he, and the movie, didn't dissapoint. It won't become the instant classic MI-1 was, but it was far more enjoyable than MI-2 (not as cheesey either), and it's action scenes were on par with those of MI-1 (remember the train/helicopter scene? Ooof!!!). A keeper, IMO.

Probably not as good as the first Mission Impossible, although better than MI-2 in my opinion. The story is kind of weak (they don't even tell you what the device they are trying to steal back does), but the action scenes are pretty good including a sick freeway scene and some cool rooftop stuff. Philip Seymour Hoffman is great and I just wish there was more of him in this. Worth buying if you're an action fan.
