Maybe I should watch it a few more times.I wasn't that impressed with the overall movie.Did it leave it open for a sequel?I wasn't ready for it to be over but there ran the credits.I'm not normally dense but this movie made me feel that way.I did like the cast and there wasn't a thing wrong with the acting.

Okay so if you're looking for a good movie, get this one. It is so true that you'll be watching it at least three times in order to digest the final twist,or, the 'prestige' as they call it. So, just keep in mind everyting from the beginning to end is important. Don't miss a beat!!

Good movie. Strange twists, two men enthralled with each other over a span of years. One has reason to be upset and extract vengence while the other man just seemed very sick and twisted with out a real reason to be consumed. I was dissapointed with the ending. I thought the wrong man won.

Of the two "Magician" movies, The Prestige coming on the heels of The Illusionist, I advise you to be enthrallingly entertained by The Prestige! The ending brings all the pieces, even shards you have forgotten, together in a stunning, knock you back in your seat of awe. You get a bit of history lesson too with the forgotten Tesla, the man Edison beat to the patent office, and who may have had a better plan. You decide. As, with illusions, you will be both enthralled then let down because, as you know, once you know how a trick or illusion is done it no longer holds any "magic". You will want to view this movie more than once. Promise! You will pledge then be introduced and then become one with The Prestige!

It is said that a lab mouse prefers to run a maze to food and water, rather than simply eat and drink. If you're in the mood for a maze, this one should slake that thirst.I offer one warning; clues there are, but they really only presage the ending (which had better be good, after all that provocation). It is good, and so is all that precedes.

So Dark and fiendishly clever, you won't even realize how smart until you finish it. A movie about slight of hand that is a slight of hand. Very very satisfying. Full of Secrets.
