duplicity concentrates on the common and awkward human inclination to lie ("everybody does it") rather than espionage per se, although the movie is laced with many of the technical accoutrements of spycraft....as such, despite endless and dizzying flashbacks, d acquits itself well as a a romantic comedy and a parody of professional grade deception.
