For intelligent people! A nice trippy movie. Hugh Jackman geta an A for acting here. Great visuals. And it's never boring.

I would say this movie is very hard to follow and not very entertaining.A Dr. tries to save his wife from death by researching a cure - basically he finds out that his efforts are against the natural scheme of things.That is to say that life comes from death...that's basically the message of the whole movie...it's anticlimactic and leaves you feeling melow and a little down.It's got some pretty visuals but really not worth it. If you've got nothing better to do then rent this.

My wife selected this movie for some reason.As i watched, I kept thinking to myself that the visual imagry was somehow trying to compensate for the lack of depth in the story.At the conclusion of the movie I found that I was right.The simple story line isn't really enough to keep you from the sense that you have just wasted two hours of precious life.While the visuals were indeed beautiful, they could not make up for the simplistic story that can be guessed the second time that one see Jackman as another character.While not necessarily a bad movie, one needs to be in the right introspective or depressed mood to fully appreciate it.That was a level of commitment that I wasn't wiling to give...For some reason I kept thinking of the old movie "Silent Running" while I watched this.

The people who didnt like this movie, probably lacked the intellectual compacity to understand it. This includes people who reviewed it here, and anywhere else you can read movie reviews. Though i do have to admit, the initial description supplied for this move is not exactly what the move truly is. I warn you, also, that this movie is not for everyone. It deffinately takes an intellectual mind that is prepared to explain to itself exactly what is going on when the movie concludes. But, when you finally come to realize the purpose..it becomes an amazing journey. Its one of the best movies i have ever seen. I watched it twice here and purchased it offline as well as recommended it to just about everyone i know..since they are like-minded..i have no doubt they will enjoy it as much as i did. By the way..this movie is extremely emotional..and if you like Hugh Jackman..he honestly does the best acting of his career, so far, in this movie.

Heartbreaking. Like nothing I've ever seen before. This isn't a typical hollywood blockbuster with car chases and things blowing up. The soundtrack is also amazing. I was in a daze for hours after watching this. Not for everyone, but I'd recommend it to those who are looking for something different.

One of the worst movies I have ever rented.

Highly recommended. Those with a sense of imagination and philosophy will very much appreciate this movie.

80% medical, 15% psychedelic and 5% of the movie I wanted and expected.Very disappointing.
