Synopsis:
Every second counts in this sexy, stylish action-thriller starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. In a future where time is literally money and aging stops at 25, the only way to stay alive is to earn, borrow, steal or inherit more time. will give it a four, but i have a weakness for scifi...i like the premise...after all, most of us spend our lives in debt, perhaps not literally for time, but human life tends to be a debtors prison for most...and revolts are usually rare and brief...is a paradox of scifi that once a reality has been set, no matter how disparate from this one, it cannot be departed from, and IT keeps to the path set for it...not the best, but imaginative...my favorite moment is also the most tragic...you'll know it when you see it...holds up well under criticism...and i am not a forgiving critic...ciao.

After seeing the "Social Network" I mistakenly thought Justin Timberlake could act, this movie popped that bubble. Not the worst movie I've ever seen but, far from the best. Slow, painfully slow and poorly edited. Five years from now Timberlake will be apologising to talk show audiences, "if you paid money to see this film tell me how much and I'll pay you back" (akin to George Clooney's statement re: "Batman & Robin", another flop).
