Synopsis:
An emotionally-stifled man with an active imagination finds his uninspired life at odds with his fantasized alter-ego, until he meets a captivating and, at times, erratic woman who forces his two worlds together. Half-Dragon Sanchez is a film about being not quite that young and afraid to fall in love. Charles is stuck. He's in a dead-end job, in dysfunctional relationships, and in a stalled-out and aimless life. His sole escape is an ongoing story he writes in which he casts a thinly veiled version of himself as the sure-footed protagonist. But even this fantasy is wearing thin when he meets Elaine, an impulsive woman who is somehow able to thaw Charles from his rigid state. Desperate to escape the sinkhole that is his life, Charles takes Elaine on an impromptu road trip to who-knows-where. However, the further they get from their lives, the more real their relationship becomes and the more Charles is forced to face the past that made his life the mess it is.
