a contingent of mercs (GOOD mercs) storms a citadel of evil and rescues a demoiselle in distress...well, at least the thinking is original...for some reason i have the lingering impression that an unusual number of action sequences have been accorded to statham(foreground, left shoulder)...perhaps because li and rourke charge by the nanosecond...willis, who also charges by the nanosecond, cameos (left, extreme backgound)...stallone, in spite of the bent lip and possibly bent integrity (did he or did he not sell himself to mccain?) suffers from no impairment of marketing skills.
