The Dog Problem

After a year in therapy, a down-on-his-luck writer named Solo (Giovanni Ribisi) buys a dog to cheer himself up. But his four-legged friend is a bigger handful than he ever imagined. Turning for help to his best friend Casper (Scott Caan), a womanizing photographer, only multiplies his problems and a series of misadventures unfolds.When a short-tempered loan shark named Benny (Kevin Corrigan), and a rich obsessive dog collector named Jules (Mena Suvari) offer to take the dog off Solo's hands, Solo can't part with his furry friend. When he meets an attractive woman named Lola (Lynn Collins) at a dog park, he starts to think having a dog isn't such a bad thing. With everyone growing increasingly obsessed with Solo's canine companion, the situation grows more complicated when the dog mysteriously goes missing.
