Synopsis:
The Gang's All Here Is A Wartime Musical, Done With A Minimum Of Plot And A Lot Of Song And Dance. Carmen Miranda Has A Memorable Number And Benny Goodman Makes An Appearance And Even Sings. soldier Andy Mason (played By James Ellison) Leaves Edie Allen (alice Faye) Convinced They're Engaged After An Overnight Romance, Although He Doesn't Tell Her His Real Name Or The Fact That He's Already Engaged To Someone Else. When He Returns With A Medal, His Father Puts On A Musical Benefit (which Features Edie), And Also Introduces Mason's Family-arranged Fiancee. director Busby Berkely Also Directed The Musical Numbers, Which Include the Lady With The Tutti-frutti Hat (featuring Carmen Miranda) And The Grand Finale, the Polka Dot Polka.
