Synopsis:
Based on the worldwide best-selling novel and philosophy by James Redfield, The Celestine Prophecy is now the movie adventure of a lifetime. John Woodson, an out-of-work teacher, is about to experience a dramatic and profound metamorphosis. Through a mysterious set of coincidences, he finds himself embarking on an adventure to the rainforests of Peru in search of nine ancient scrolls, known as the Celestine Prophecy. The prophecy and its nine key insights predict a worldwide awakening that redefines human life and provides a glimpse into a deeper level of spirituality emerging on earth. When corrupt church officials discover that a ninth scroll exists, they vow to move heaven and earth to stop the prophecy from being revealed. John's journey to discovery takes an adventurous turn filled with mysterious events and chance meetings none of which prove to be mere coincidence. Each person who crosses his path gives him a clue to solving the timeless mystery of the ninth scroll, but can he discover its meaning in time?

Like most movies the book is better. I like the idea of the movie it just gets to far fetched to believe. It should have stopped before showing the magical spirits.

I don't know who has been reviewing this movie, but this is the lamest movie I have seen in a long time. The so called spiritual nature of the movie is so cult like that it isn't even believable.
