Well, I can?t claim that I wasn?t scared!The Descent contains quite a few decent frights, some of the better of which are more ?jump out of your seat? moments than what we would call ?horror.?Being claustrophobic and never having learned to swim made it all the more frightening for me, personally. (If I were also afraid of the dark, the viewing might have killed me.)So, The Descent works pretty well on several levels:premise, action, scares, and monsters, strong and/or attractive women and all that lot. All in all, I found it highly entertaining and worth my time and money.My only gripe would be in line with the comments of another reviewer, who implied that he or she didn?t quite get the ending ? I also thought it was quite confusing, maybe even a bit of a cop-out, leaving one decision too many for the viewer to make in their final appraisal. But I had a blast watching it ? go for it!

the girls are dumb, the creatures made it too unrealistic

this is the worst movie i have ever seen

This movie uses much more than a few hundred buckets of blood to scare people. It almost preys on all your senses. Though there is a few dumb & predictable moments..you have to understand that these women are trapped beneath the earth without a way out. what choices would you make? Especially when you have no idea where you are -or- where you're going. the characters are well fleshed out as far as horror movie standards have been..and you will become especially attached to the main character..i honestly was rooting for her. its the not the greatest story..but what makes it work is a believable environment and a somewhat believable foe. if you're a horror movie fan..do yourself a favor and watch this movie..

Excellent film!Strong characters...good script...very suspenseful.It's nice to see everyday women kicking some ass!Definitely worth the money!

Well,these one was pretty good for the price.Although i didn't quit understood the final i think there's a 2nd part for this one;From 1 to 10 i give 8.
