I see three stars here, I think anything that doesn't have commercials deserves two stars. Otherwise I thunk again, that this was an excellent Si-Fi film. They didn't spend a huge amount of money making this film but entertaining non the less. I did not have to look at anything gross or ugly,thank you, it make me think for a second or two, no one second, and I didn't need a Xanax at the end of the movie, thank you.I think it may be a solid three, but for me and my average IQ it is a solid four pushing five. I don't care if it is not prefect in every detail, thank about it, it beat the hell out of Ice Road Truckers.

unfortunately, someone directed keanu to perform as antiemotionally as possible, which weighs us down with one gort too many....it has always been a problem for me that the superbeing, klaatu, having frightened the beejesus out of earth, is taken aback when he gets himself shot by hurtling himself at new york....nothing is done to compensate for that....instead the movie is presented with about the same level of tension and crisis as a coffee klatch....good fx....but that isn't half good enough to save this earth from freezing in place.
