This was a fantastic treatment of a much-avoided subject, and wonderfully acted and directed.It is a true story...so unless you want your Hollywood ending or predictability, I suggest you look elsewhere.It is a touching potrait of someone highly gifted but mentally ill, and a view into the journey of those who care deeply about him.Highly recommended.

fine performances by downey and foxx....unfortunately, it takes far too long for downey to assimilate the fact that schizophrenia cannot be cured with bare compassion....ciao.

I was very disapointed in this movie... seemed to me that the concept had so much potential
