Synopsis:
Before "Battle Bots", "The Matrix", "The Terminator" or any of their imitators, there was Survival Research Laboratories. Founded by the visionary Mark Pauline, Survival Research Laboratories utilize incredibly complex props and robotics to create a unique spectacle unlike anything seen before. In this film Jon Reiss encapsulates the humor, terror, artistic bravado and technical genuis behind the menacing machines and weaves it into a gloriously cacophonous whole. In combining the most powerful performances from the numerous SRL documentaries, this film shows the development of SRL from its earliest performances in front of a handful of people in San Francisco to grand spectacles staged for thousands in the United States and Europe. Required viewing for fans of the current incarnations of the robot wars phenomena, dystopian science fiction or extreme performance art.

I was interested at first but then when it turned into "art" utilizing the carcasses of small fury mammels, I lost interest.I'm not a PETA hugger by any means, but well, there is interesting art and then there is crap like this.
