Synopsis:
Every year thousands of music fans from every part of the globe arrive at a specially built train station in the middle of Denmark for the Roskilde Festival - one of the longest running and most famous music festivals in the world.The festival began in 1971 and since then has grown into a massive four day event with over 150 performers from all over the world on seven different stages, playing to 100,000 people. Bands featured are Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pet Shop Boys and Travis along with many others.This documentary combines interviews with the festival organisers, performers and festival goers with short performance clips to tell the story of the festival and explain the philosophy behind it.
