Synopsis:
Now...the first narrative motion picture set in the high-octane world of Supercross competition. SUPERCROSS: THE MOVIE is a motorcycle saga that chronicles the personal journey of two brothers who overcome emotional and physical obstacles to achieve success in the competitive world of Supercross racing. The brothers' conflicts are magnified by their different life choices and their decision to become competitors and rivals. KC Carlyle is a more cautious rider than younger brother Trip, who has more natural talent but takes too many risks. When KC gets an all-expenses-paid factory (corporate sponsored) ride, a rift forms between the two brothers. Trip is forced to go it alone, becoming a privateer, a rider without a sponsor. But when a career threatening crash ends Trip's Supercross career, he and KC realize they must put aside their conflicts and work together to help KC defeat the world's greatest Supercross champions.

If you are a real motorcycle rider and are looking for action don't rent this movie. The title of the movie is "supercross" which they never show! Most of the fliming is outdoor motorcross. and the riding is slow. The plot was okay and the actors did alright but failed to show the true speed that you get in supercross or any motorcycle riding. One hot chick!!

I rented this movie because I'm a Supercross fan and was hoping for some decent action footage. I had low expectations for the plot-line and action, but was pleasantly surprised. The movie stunts are equal in quality to the actual racing footage, which is awesome...no phony glamor shots, it's the real deal. The plot is a familiar one to those who follow the real life drama's that sometimes surround high stakes competetive motor sports, totally credible. And the acting is not half bad. I would put this movie in the same genre as "Day's of Thunder" (Tom Cruise) or "Driven" (Sylvester Stallone), though nowhere near the same levels of suspense and clout as those two movies. High appeal for teens to mid twenties. If you're over thirty and not a motor sports fan...pass on it.

"Supercross" camera work and "jam on" editing during the amped racing segments is worthy of some kind of film award, even with the dusty plot and cinematography of the rest of the movie.Documentary truth mixes with simple romantics. All stunt racing doubles needed to qualify for the racing action, up to and including the THQ World Championship Final. Actual Supercross events are highlighted with the brash yet grand good looks of Sophia Bush and Channing Tatum, along with notables like Mike Vogel, Steve Howie, Carolina Garcia, newcomer Ryan Locke, racers Tyler Evans, David Castillo and David Pingree, and a host of events extras. Aaron Carter plays a character with only a few acting lines.Be prepared to sit through some old fashioned film technique intended to grant a dated grainy vintage touch. Veteran biker, stunt man, and Stunt Director Steve Boyum was in charge, and the strengths revolve around the spectacular and artistic cycle racing cinematography combined with thick impressionistic sound editing.
