stanley was a passionate chess player, and he has always seemed to me to take dangerous chances in his work, seeking the brilliant sacrifices that make for a more thrilling win...however, in this movie, although the play is very sharp, the game plays down to a rather bathetic draw.

A total waste of time and the last film made by an obviously twisted man who elites say was brilliant.

At first, you may not think much of it. But this film has heavy feminist significance, among the orgies, infidelity and child hookers.Trust me.
