Michael Burns, Lions Gate Entertainment

Michael Burns has been Vice Chairman and a director of Lions Gate Entertainment since 2000. He and CEO Jon Feltheimer have been the principal architects of Lions Gate's evolution into the premier independent filmed entertainment studio through organic growth and accretive strategic acquisitions.

Previously, Mr. Burns served for nine years as managing director and head of Prudential Securities' Los Angeles investment banking office. While at Prudential, he specialized in raising equity within the media and entertainment industry. Prior to joining Prudential, he spent nine years at Shearson Lehman Brothers (now Salomon Smith Barney) in New York and Los Angeles.

On the entrepreneurial front, Mr. Burns has served as chairman of Ignite Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based entertainment production company, was cofounder of the Hollywood Stock Exchange (www.hsx.com) and serves as chairman of Novica.com (in association with National Geographic), a company with a global infrastructure enabling thousands of artists around the world to directly access the global marketplace through online and wholesale channels.

Mr. Burns graduated with a B.S. from Arizona State University and received his M.B.A. from the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles.
Shawn Carolan, Menlo Ventures

Shawn Carolan is a Managing Director at Menlo Ventures, focusing primarily on network connected software and services. He represents Menlo Ventures on the boards of CinemaNow and GalleryPlayer, and is closely involved with the firm's investments in MobiTV and ePAC.

Before joining Menlo, Mr. Carolan was a management consultant for Booz-Allen & Hamilton, but has spent most of his career in engineering and engineering management positions. He was Manager of Software Architecture for Open Port Technology, a start-up that created Internet-based messaging software for data carriers. Prior to that, Mr. Carolan worked at Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group and Wireless Data Group, Sprint PCS, and the University of Illinois' Center for Computational Electromagnetics.

Mr. Carolan is a graduate of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.) and the University of Illinois, Champaign (B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering).

Jon Feltheimer, Lions Gate Entertainment

Jon Feltheimer was named Chief Executive Officer of Lions Gate Entertainment in March 2000. His blueprint for Lions Gate's growth, combining the flexibility and entrepreneurial culture of an independent with the financial and strategic relationships of a major studio, draws upon his 20-year career in the entertainment industry.

Before joining Lions Gate, Mr. Feltheimer spent nine years at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). He engineered the creation of TriStar Television as part of SPE's acquisition of television assets from New World Entertainment Ltd. He was subsequently named head of the Columbia TriStar Television Group and executive vice president of SPE, leading its evolution into an international powerhouse that launched or partnered in nearly 30 branded channels, regional networks and co-production ventures around the world.

While at Sony, Mr. Feltheimer leveraged his creative talent relationships into such major hits as MAD ABOUT YOU, THE NANNY, DAWSON'S CREEK, PARTY OF FIVE and THE KING OF QUEENS and he oversaw the successful syndication launch of the record-breaking blockbuster SEINFELD.

He launched SPE's interactive television business in 1996 and served as the architect of SPE's investment and management of the U.S.-based Spanish-language network Telemundo in conjunction with Liberty Media and Apollo Partners. Previously, Mr. Feltheimer spent eight years at New World Entertainment, where he was promoted to president and chief executive officer, directed the company's domestic and international distribution businesses and managed its New World Television division, which he launched, as well as its Marvel Productions and Learning Corporation of America units.

Mr. Feltheimer earned a bachelor's degree in economics with honors from Washington University.

Larry Griffin, Hunter Capital

Larry Griffin is Managing Director of Hunter Capital Group, LLC and a General Partner of Prospector Equity Capital, L.P., Hunter Capital's private equity fund. Prior to joining Hunter Capital Group in 1996, Mr. Griffin worked in the Corporate Finance Department of Dabney/Resnick (now Imperial Capital) where he was responsible for all aspects of a variety of mergers & acquisitions, financing and restructuring transactions in a wide range of industries. Prior to Dabney/Resnick, Mr. Griffin worked at Post Advisory Group where he performed detailed credit analysis and co-managed a $110 million fund principally invested in high-yield related securities. Prior to Post Advisory Group, Mr. Griffin completed his first tenure at Dabney/Resnick during the firm's highest period of growth where he worked in both the Research and Corporate Finance departments. Mr. Griffin has completed over $5 billion of financing and investment transactions in his career.

Mr. Griffin finance career has been materially weighted toward media businesses having worked with companies involved in promotions and advertising, pay television and home entertainment distribution. Mr. Griffin currently serves on the Boards of AdvancedMD Software, Inc. and Media Forum, Inc. and he has primary responsibility for Prospector's investment in DVDPlay, Inc.

Mr. Griffin graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing.

Mark Jackson, EchoStar Technologies Corporation

Mark Jackson serves as President of EchoStar Technologies Corporation, a division of EchoStar Communications Corporation. Mr. Jackson oversees and provides direction on EchoStar???s expanding product line of MPEG-2&4/DVB digital satellite TV receivers and services along with other related products for various customers that include EchoStar's DISH Network, Canada's Bell ExpressVu, Telefonica of Spain, and other international direct broadcast satellite TV providers. He also oversees product and system architecture, business television operations, broadcast operations and interactive data services, along with new business ventures.

Mr. Jackson also oversees EchoStar's international divisions that include Eldon Technologies in the United Kingdom and offices in the Netherlands.

Mr. Jackson started at EchoStar in April 1993 as director of Engineering before being promoted to vice president of Engineering for EchoStar. His responsibilities included product development, tactical planning and new product conception / definition / planning of EchoStar's entire line of direct-to-home satellite television receivers.

Prior to joining EchoStar, Mr. Jackson was Director of Engineering of Tandon Corporation, Inc., for seven years where he was responsible for product development, strategic planning and new product conception/definition.

Mr. Jackson was born in Hale Center, Texas in 1961 and attended Texas Tech University.

Curt Marvis, CinemaNow, Inc.

Curt Marvis has a distinguished career in television, multimedia and the Internet and has served as a co-founder and CEO of CinemaNow since its creation in June of 1999.

He previously served as President of publicly held game developer 7th Level, leading their successful restructuring into delivery of web-based technology applications. At 7th Level he created and implemented business partnerships with Microsoft, Real Networks, GeoCities, broadcast.com, IBM and MTV and helped orchestrate a merger to create Learn2.com.

Mr. Marvis was a founder of multimedia start-up Powerhouse Entertainment and served one year on the IBM Multimedia Task Force creating strategic plans for IBM in their continued development of interactive software.

From 1984 to 1994 Mr. Marvis co-founded and served as CEO of The Company, an award winning and highly successful production company for music videos and commercials. During this time, he and his partner, Director Wayne Isham, produced many of the most popular and critically acclaimed videos in the history of MTV. They were awarded in 1991 with MTV's Video Vanguard Award honoring lifetime achievement in their work.

Mr. Marvis is a graduate with honors from UCLA with a BFA in Motion Picture and Television Production.
Susumu Tsubaki, Index Holdings

Susumu Tsubaki is an Executive senior vice president at Index Holdings, focusing on corporate strategy, operation, alliance strategy and group company management.

Before joining Index Holdings, Susumu spent 15 years at Boston Consulting Group Tokyo. He has served as a vice president since 2003. He has also worked in BCG's San Francisco office. He was a member of BCG's Technology & Communications Practice Area. While at BCG, Susumu Tsubaki has worked closely with clients in a wide range of industries including high tech, telecommunications, consumer goods, industrial goods and media & entertainment.

Susumu Tsubaki holds a BS in molecular biology from the University of Tokyo.
