Winbox Technologies and CinemaNow Partner to Provide Premium VoD Services

Winbox to be CinemaNow's First European Partner

Berlin, Germany, IFA, August 29, 2008 - Winbox Technologies, leading provider of OEM technology solutions for Windows Embedded based TV-centric consumer electronics announced that US based CinemaNow (http://www.cinemanow.com/), the digital entertainment innovator in delivering high-quality Hollywood movies and TV shows across multiple platforms, have set up a partnership to allow the delivery of the extensive CinemaNow content over broadband directly to the home TV using Winbox Technologies OEM set-top boxes.

It is expected that the first products to include CinemaNow's content will be aimed at the UK, with products for Germany and the rest of Europe following quickly. "With this partnership, we greatly extend the consumer value of our OEM solutions. Under this Agreement our OEM customer can opt for different premium Video-Demand services from one of the real leaders in the VOD content business when they choose either the EVO1 or EVO2 platform for their own connected TV or Set-Top-Box products", Christof Winker, CEO of Winbox Technologies explains.

The combination of these products mean that set top boxes offering the CinemaNow service could appear in retail in the UK as early as this year.
