This movie is a marvelous example of how not to tell a story in any medium but especially film. Some amateurs with money or a gift for raising it made this monstrosity. It???s as if the script writer used every word of a thirty year journal and included that many years of one liners, whether they advanced the plot or not.It is so cute that it???s nauseating, Ivy League preppies that aren???t afraid to use the ???f??? word over and over and over again. After an interminable waste of time, the point is finally reached, ???love works.???Nothing here matches.I watched the credits carefully, just to see who the script girl was. There was no credit for continuity, and the movie shows it.People arrive at places in one kind of transportation and depart in another.Even costumes change in any given scene, as does lighting, make-up, hairdos, beer types, props, photographic style, etc.The rapid fire cutting becomes one long Excedrin moment. If the tedium is hard on an audience, then it must have exhausted the actors, who look it.The director must not have known what she wanted, because every imaginable point of view is shot and used. The real point of this movie is that Horatio Alger is alive and well.It just proves that if you???ve got enough money and the right connections, you too can make an excessively trite movie.
