Taking advantage of the overwhelming popularity of the smash American talent show AMERICAN IDOL, FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY stars the two charismatic finalists from the first incarnation of the hit show.An old-style musical in the mold of the Beach Blanket films from the 1960s, the film takes Kelly (KELLY CLARKSON) and her friends Kaya and Alexa down to the sun-drenched southern Florida coast for their college Spring Break. At the same time up in Pennsylvania, Justin (JUSTIN GUARINI) and his pals Brandon and Eddie decide to head down to warmer climes for a guys-only road trip.When the two groups arrive at the same Florida beachside, Brandon, Alexa, Kaya, and Eddie are only interested in the appealing eye candy swarming around. Kelly and Justin, however, catch eyes and fall in love at first sight.Trying to play it cool, Justin asks for Kelly's number (catching the eye of Alexa as well) but forgets to give her his. Thinking he's scored, he confidently drifts off with his friends as Kelly looks forward to seeing Justin's smile again. When Justin loses Kelly's number, however, the scramble is on to find her in a sea of distractingly beautiful women. With Kelly's best friend also interested in Justin, and Justin's pals throwing woman at him in order to loosen him up, the two star-crossed lovers have a seemingly impossible set of hurdles before them.Will the two meant-to-be lovers get together?
