Overnight Sensation

Matthew, (Sean Dugan), an idealistic and independent young screenwriter, quits his job as a production assistant on an extravagant studio film and heads out to the Sundance Film Festival hoping to generate interest in his hot-off-the-press screenplay. Together with his overly ambitious friend, (Seth Meier), and the out-of-favor agent (Mark Goddard) they come up with a gimmick to get the script read in the form of puzzle pieces containing key parts of the script. The trick becomes the talk of the festival, attracting the attention of people who can make or break careers, including ruthless agent Connor (Maxwell Caulfield). Soon, friend is pitted against friend and agent is pitted against agent as the very nature of independence is put to the test.
