QUICK FAQ

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Prices typically range from $9.99 to $19.99 and we often have special discounts. Please check the title's detail page for exact pricing.

Q: Which videos are available in the DVD format and for burning?
A: Any video that is in the "Burn to DVD" section of CinemaNow comes in the DVD format (menus, extras, etc.) and allows you to burn a copy to disc. You can also look for the DVD icon on the title's detail page. We are working with our content partners to make more content available, so keep checking back.

Q: Do I really get the whole DVD?
A: Yes. These downloads include, menu, special features, bonus interviews, documentaries, commentary tracks, multiple languages, etc... If it's on the main disc of the store-bought DVD, you get it with the download. We also provide DVD labels and cover art which you can print for free.

Q: How long does the download and burn process take?
A: Typically a download can take 1-2 hours, at which point you can watch the DVD file on your PC. If you choose to burn the file (you can do this during the download or later), this will take anywhere from 2-5 hours depending on your computer's capabilities. Typically the download and burn process takes about 3 hours total.

Q: What are the benefits? Will it get faster?
A: Three hours may seem like a long time, but once you purchase the DVD, your work is done. You can minimize the burning software and do other things online or leave the computer to do its job. When you come back, your DVD is ready to play. CinemaNow is designed to fit into your life. Order a movie and do other things. We bring the DVD store right into your home.

Of course, this is still a "beta" product, which is tech-speak for "we're still working on it". Your DVD Burner software is designed to let you know when there are updates and in the next few months we will have new ways to make this process faster, easier, and just plain cooler.

Q: Can I watch on my computer without burning to DVD?
A: Yes, once the file is downloaded you can play it on your computer with all the DVD features using your Windows Media Player. Download to your laptop and take it on the plane or your next road trip.

Q: Can I wait to burn my DVD?
A: Absolutely. Once you download the file, you own it. If at any time you want to make a DVD copy (say, after you pick up some blank DVDs or buy a DVD writer), you can open up CinemaNow's burner application, find the file and click "Start" to begin burning.

Q: Will it play on my DVD player?
A: The success rate for DVD playback is 94%, so chances are it is going to play in the DVD player you already own. This also includes the DVD player in your PC. If you burn a CinemaNow DVD and it does not play back, please visit customer support.

How many copies can I burn to DVD?
A: At this time, CinemaNow only allows one burnable copy per purchase. When you buy a CinemaNow DVD Download you get two copies: 1 digital version and 1 burn. If you wish to burn additionally copies you will need to re-purchase the title.
