A: CinemaNow works with major studios such as Disney, Fox, Lionsgate, MGM, Sony and Warner Brothers to make as many videos available as possible. While some titles may not currently be available, we encourage you to keep checking back as new movies are available each week. New titles are typically available on Tuesday and you can always sign up for our free newsletter to keep up on the latest releases and receive special discounts.
Q: How large is a video file?
A: Our premium movie files for download are encoded at approximately 2200kbps (kilo bits per second) with approximate file size of 1.5GB.
Q: How much space do I need on my computer to store the file?
A: You will need at least 1.5GB of free space on your hard drive for the download of a video file of a premium movie and to ensure smooth playback. For tips on how to check your free space, visit

Q: How long does it take to download a title?
A: With a fast connection (DSL, Cable Modem or better) a DVD quality premium (2200k) title will typically take an hour. This can vary depending on your connection speed.

A: If your laptop has an S-video jack, then you can hook your computer directly to your TV. Or, you can purchase a title from CinemaNow.com and then watch it on your internet - connected TV, Blu-ray Player or game console (PS3) via the CinemaNow application.
Q: Can I transfer videos to portable devices like iOS devices (iPhone, iPod,iPad), PSP, or smartphones?
A: At this time CinemaNow videos are not available for any portable devices. However, we are working with our content partners to expand our offering.
