Q: How large is an HD file?
A: Our HD video files are encoded at 8000k, which is more than 7 times the size of our standard definition file. Please read the System Requirements for HD content to make sure you can download and watch HD files.
Q: How much space do I need on my computer to store the file?
A: Our largest HD videos require about 3 GB of free space on your hard drive. The size of the file will vary depending on the length of the video. For tips on how to check your free space, visit

Q: >How long does it take to download an HD video?
A: Even with a fast connection (DSL, Cable Modem or better) an HD video will typically take a couple of hours to download because of the size of this file. This can vary depending on your connection speed.
Q: What are the minimal technical requirements for High-Def Videos?
A: In order to download and watch CinemaNowHD videos, you must meet the following minimum system requirements. Please note these are different than our standard definition videos:
- Windows XP
- Windows Media Player 10
- 2.4 GHz Processor
- 384 MB of RAM
- 64 MB Video Card
- 1024x768 Screen Resolution
- 16-Bit Sound Card
Please also note that you might be able to watch some files using Windows Media Player 9 and older operating systems such as Windows 2000 or ME, but we no longer support, test or recommend our products for use with these operating systems or players.
Q: Can I burn these videos to DVD?
A: Only videos in the
Burn To DVD section can be burned and played in a standard DVD player. Please see the
