I had to stop at about 8 minutes into the film when the blonde drives by and shakes her hair into the wind. Maybe you have better luck/less taste. A big ole country fried STEAMY pile of cliches. I didnt watch the film, so Im not really presenting a review here. But I'll review the excruciating eight minutes I did and say...I grew up in the South, lived in a small city in the west and live in a small village now. I've never seen rivalry between religions. I need a foundation of believability to watch a film, so I was out pretty fast.

Romantic, funny, clean movie. Quite stereotyped characters, except Tartan, the "hero" in the story. Has a theme of reconciliation and friendship.

A sweet and charming story, with real people for characters instead of Hollywood-types. This is a family-friendly film for those of us in "flyover country" without the multi-cult pathology of New York or Los Angeles. Admittedly, the actress who plays Charity is not the most gifted, but she is incredibly photogenic, and the camera lingers on her stunning smile and her rolling eyes almost sinfully. :)

I'm a Baptist and I found this to be a very good movie even though it made fun of us. Thankfully we're nothing like the Baptists in this movie, the mean ones anyway. Very clean and funny. Some of the humor is very religious in tone so you have to know the background of Mormons and Baptist to get some of the jokes.

Usually Im a sucker for anything Jeffrey Combs is in because the movies he makes are usually pretty off-beat and cool.This aint one of those.Combs is his usual good self but lackluster in his bit role.This film got two stars primarily because of him and the fact that the blonde eventually gets down to her underwear (worth the wait for that!).Otherwise the hi-tech sets are horrible (check the computers behind combs.They look like they are colored posterboard pasted on black sheets over a frame) and the special effects are stop motion dinosaurs, though the fx guy did incorporate the actors into the scenes with them.And lastly, for some strange reason, the people who are on screen most are the worst actors.Watch Casey as she delivers her lines in the same grating monotone.Shes a looker, but delivery is n ot her forte'.All in all, another one for the bad movie night fest, but not something to watch for a solid movie going experience.Tim

Has the deadpan hilarious lines like Napolean D and is a genuinely sweet yet very funny flick! Nice plot twist and Christian community inside humor. Refreshing to LOL without having to sit thru crudeness and endless profanity. There's even a (hold on to your seat 2006 moviegoers) chaste love interest!!!

Very well done and Funny although I am not mormon.....I can relate.....Make polygamy legal again then I might become one though....lol

Really good love story, a must watch for free. Great acting, not sure why I have not seen this actor before, he kind of looks like the actor from smallville. This is a grade A movie for acting not B
