Synopsis:
This hilspoof of the "Star Trek" series is a riotous trip into a parallel universe. Directed by Tim Russ (Lt. Tuvok of "Star Trek: Voyager), Roddenberry fights crime on the streets of L.A. by day and writes television scripts by night. He has a brilliant idea for a show set in outer space, but unfortunately he's suffering from a bad case of writer's block. But after strange encounters with fellow officers who taunt him, a red shirt bandit, a captain who wants Roddenberry to write a role for his daughter, a secratary humming an eerily familiar tune and a network exec who doesn't have a clue, inspiration strikes...and his brilliant idea takes off! So pull over for Roddenberry on Patrol and get ready for an unforgettable voyage to the outer reaches of the imagination. This first parody of the much revered creator of Star Trek adds a whole new dimension of folklore to the Trek phenomenon.

This short is a must-see for "Trekkies"--Have fun spotting the Star Trek related actors--They are not all obvious.
