as a gesture of atonement for having inflicted this dated and clumsy movie upon myself, i have resolved to abstain from all smoking, alcohol, and chocolate for a period of 3 weeks, which should be made easier by the fact that i don't smoke or drink...however, the chocolate may be difficult, and i have been known to break resolutions before.
