I would rate this a 3.5 if possible. Interesting film, unorthodox. Nice family film but for older audiences. I would say its not worth the $4 paid though, maybe because I expected more based on all the awards that it received. It would be well worth the $1.99 video vault that Cinemanow puts on certain rentals- even a $2.99 price tag would be more suitable. I guess because its based on a true story it didn't marvel; Hollywood of course always glamorizes stories- even those modified for shock or reaction. But honestly I don't think that the writer did this with this film. However, if you are looking for a realistic and positive film you will find it here.
