I actually liked this movie. When I saw the previews for it, I expected a demon-centered story; instead, it's a complicated tale of persecution and revenge. Okay, so there's a demon in it; the hell, however, is unleashed by its own residents, which is, you know, what makes "Silent Hill" cool. The ending, though, left a lot to be desired, but it also raised questions. What exactly happened to the secondary mother and daughter (the primary mother and daughter introduce the plot)? Did they die in the car crash? Were they ever in the town of purgatory? The emplotment of mother loss is interesting, though distracting to the overall theme. :) Vanessa Raney

I enjoyed this movie, it was better than the other video game movie resident evil. I hope they make another.

This is an excellent movie. Would watch it again. Incredible effects.
