Synopsis:

Peter Fonda stars in this story of a cowboy who, tired of the wandering life, returns home to the wife and daughter he abandoned seven years earlier. His wife Hannah (Verna Bloom) allows Harry (Fonda) back but only as a hired hand and he is forced to sleep in the barn with his fellow traveler Arch (Warren Oates). As he works to rebuild his marriage, Harry eventually must make a tough choice of loyalties between his wife and his best friend.
