A blaring smoke alarm jolts Nancy and the boys out of bed, tripped by her drifter brother-in-law Andy whom she discovers in the kitchen preparing a surprise gourmet breakfast. Nancy's none too pleased by Andy's presence, especially as it looks like his stay may be indefinite. Now with Andy always hanging around the kitchen, Nancy can't cook up her pot pastries, so Vaneeta turns her on to the Candyman, a baker who mixes it with bud and makes the world taste good. Later, Nancy visits the Candyman and buys a selection of her pot-laced candy bars, brownies and chocolate treats. Doug and Nancy meet a going-out-of-business restaurant, where he encourages her to take over the space to front her legitimate business a bakery. Nancy overhears Andy giving twisted sex advice to Silas and immediately orders him out of the house. But when Andy busts Nancy as a pot dealer and weed baker it suddenly looks like Andy might stay. Meanwhile, in a way only Celia can, she reveals to Dean that she has cancer.
