Just as he and Randy (Ethan Suplee) are about to finish carrying out his long overdue gift his mother decides her repayment should entail Earl doing something nice for his father Carl (guest star Beau Bridges). In order to fulfill his promise to his mother, Earl sets out to reclaim his father's classic Mustang, which he lost in a bet as a kid.
