"Long Distance", directed by Marcus Stern, is absolutely a must see! On, what must have been, a "stretch-every-cent" budget, Stern gives us a movie surpassing Shamalyan's hit with "I see dead people" by leaps and bounds."Long Distance" doesn't have the sheen and polish of the mega bucks hit but the direction is top notch and the acting, when you think it's about to falter, holds up well. I would say; kind of like a "twist" within the movie before the twist at the end.The closeups and most of the movie has remarkable, superb lighting, framing and very creative shots throughout, top of the line camera work. A Great script.I didn't recognise any of the actors in this film and I don't understand why it wasn't picked up and distributed by a major studio. At the price...You're getting a movie much more entertaining than anything you're paying 4 to 6 dollars to see today.If you like a thriller with a knock out twist that isn't a dud, the this is for you.

Low budget film, done well. Decent acting by all. Good plot with a twist I didn't see coming. Give it a whirl, it's worth it.***
