Synopsis:
Jeanie discovers she is HIV positive but refuses to disclose her status to the hospital. Her former lover, Dr. Peter Benton, tests negative. Having recently graduated from medical school, Carter now works as a surgical intern under Benton. Another intern, Dr. Dennis Gant, befriends Carter.
